MEET OUR FOUNDING PASTORS
Pastor Dwane Menke was the founder of Generation Church and co-pastored with his wife from the beginning. They were young sweethearts, the best of friends and were married nearly 40 years, pastoring side by side for 28 of those years, 13 @ GC. He was a husband, father of two and PupPup (Grandpa) to their beautiful grandchildren. PsDwane loved to teach the Word of God in a conversational and often humorous way that seemed to connect with the listener. He had his Bachelor's Degree from Life Christian University as well as having received his three years of postsecondary ministry training at RHEMA Bible Training College, Tulsa, OK. This included a third year emphasis in worship ministry.
Our beloved Founding Pastor went to be with the Lord on the 4th of July, 2024. Generations have been impacted by the way that he lived and now that assignment is carried on by his co-pastor, Denise Menke and the incredible Leadership Team here at Generation Church.

Hey friend ... I'm Denise!
I must say, I get super charged, loving people to LIFE! Former Student Ministries’ Pastor, Women’s Pastor, full time traveling itinerant minister and church planter, I now serve primarily as Founding / Lead Pastor. I'm also intentional to keep my roles as mama & mimi first place, as my family means EVERYTHING to me.
I graduated from (and hold ordination with) Rhema Bible Training College, as well as hold my Bachelors in Theology from Life Christian University, and 2 classes away from my Masters. I currently function as the Lead / Teaching Pastor @ Generation Church, and also serve on rotation as Adjunct Professor as well
A passionate, humorous and creative communicator of the Gospel, Denise counts it pure honor to be "Jesus with skin on" ... to a world that’s seeking. More than anything .. she just loves people BIG, and longs to bring out the FULLNESS of the call of God on their lives!
