Assumption – Things that we accept as truth without proof

Stories that we make up to fill in what we don’t know.

We make assumptions every day. Your mind is like a supercomputer. Our mind retains past experiences, and draws on these experiences to create patterns. When we encounter new experiences, we apply these patterns and assumes a likely response. This process can save time and energy.

But what happens when someone makes a wrong assumption about us? Or when we make an assumption about them?
